At Art By Resin, we stand behind our work with a Limited Lifetime Warranty on our epoxy flooring and concrete coatings. We’re committed to delivering lasting quality, ensuring that your floors stay durable, beautiful, and functional for years to come.

What’s Covered?

Art By Resin warranties that our professionally installed epoxy flooring and concrete coatings will:

Not yellow due to UV exposure for the lifetime of the original purchaser.
Not chip, peel, separate, or delaminate from a properly prepared and installed surface under normal use.
Remain free from material defects when installed following our professional process.

If a covered defect occurs, Art By Resin will supply replacement materials to repair the affected areas. Our responsibility is limited to the original cost of materials or replacement (excluding taxes, shipping, and additional labor). A trained team member must inspect and assess the damage before any repairs are performed.

Warranty Conditions

This warranty applies only to the original installation at the original location. It will be void if:

The product was installed against local building codes.
The product is used in an inappropriate environment (such as extreme heat over 250°F).
The coatings are altered, mixed with unapproved products, or applied over pre-existing coatings not prepared by Art By Resin.

All concrete surfaces must be properly prepared before coating. This includes:

Diamond grinding to remove old coatings, dirt, oil, and surface contaminants.
Ensuring the concrete has a neutral pH (around 7).
Moisture vapor transmission must not exceed 3 pounds per 1,000 square feet.

What’s Not Covered (Exclusions)

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

Normal wear and tear.
Abuse, impact damage, deep gouges, or improper maintenance.
Cracks caused by concrete shifting, settling, or structural movement.
Exposure to extreme temperatures exceeding 250°F.
Damage from corrosive chemicals, harsh cleaning agents, or spills.
Hydrostatic water pressure or moisture issues from underneath the slab.
Installation over failing or improperly installed coatings not completed by Art By Resin.

Please note: Even with slip-resistant coatings, no surface can be 100% slip-proof. Customers are responsible for maintaining safe walking conditions.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

Your full name and installation address
The date of your installation
A detailed description of the issue
Clear photos of the affected area

Once we receive your claim, our team will review it and may schedule an inspection if needed. If approved, we will provide replacement materials or outline repair options.

Paid Repairs for Non-Warranty Issues

If damage occurs outside of warranty coverage, Art By Resin offers affordable repair services.

Minimum repair service fee starts at $250.
Custom pricing available based on the extent of repairs.

This includes repairs for:

Accidental damage caused by the customer.
Surface cracks from shifting concrete or structural movement.

Legal & Warranty Limitations

This warranty covers only the original materials and does not cover incidental or consequential damages, including:

Injuries resulting from slips, trips, or falls.
Business loss due to repairs or maintenance.
Third-party work done after installation.

Some states do not allow certain exclusions, so this warranty will be interpreted in accordance with local laws where applicable.

We recommend keeping your original invoice and project documentation for future reference.
